Organic link building is considered to be the best way to generate backlinks for your site. It is also considered as an important tool for search engine optimization. An organic link is a link from a 3rd party site with or without their authorized permission. Organic link building is also a method to generate inbound links from other sites. Inbound links being one of many tools used by the search engines to market your site online. To furnish organic links you need to publish a quality post that is worth sharing with thousands of internet users. You can place a link either within your post or at the end of every post.

1. Guest posting can be one such methodology to develop quality organic links from other sites. Guest posting means writing an article for a blog or a site that has more authority in that niche. In return, the host shares a link back to the blogger’s site. You get the quality link and the host receives a post to attract its audience.

2. Another method that can generate links is by publishing press releases. While looking for press releases make sure you have a post with quality content coupled with catchy title to grasp the attention of the user. Leave a link back to your site in between the post to get the benefit of your work.

3. If you have been working with the SEO techniques to place your blog’s rank within the top searches, utilize this supreme authority to exchange few links with your competitors. Your position gives you an added advantage to get an organic backlink.

4. Social networking sites can be a great tool for link building. There are many social networking sites that have high traffic and page ranks. Utilize this to your benefit. Social networking sites have this feature of sharing your link with them. Not only have you got the benefit of link building but also a heavy amount of traffic.

Creating back links gives you wider search engine exposure, when the host website feature from the keyword typed in at the search; your backlink creates a probability of driving some percentage of the traffic that is generated by the search engines. Organic links works as vote for your site, a backlink from a more popular blog or site has a message of trust printed all over it. Search engines regard this as a positive sign to promote your blog for better rankings.

Sometimes, link building can divert your attention away from the main purpose and you might end up spending far too much time away from your site. Some other methods that may help in this scenario are providing Wikipedia suggestions, commenting on blogs and Yahoo Answers. Some link building methodologies can take time before it starts showing its affect, the bottom line is to just concentrate on your blog and focus on creating quality content.
